What is the age limit?
What should I bring?
Just bring yourself (and any friends) and a smile and be ready to have fun! If you want to bring food you are welcome to do so. We provide all of the materials for the class and have an onsite bar with beer & wine for our guests over age 21 and have soda and water for all guests. Outside alcohol is not allowed.
When are your classes?
We post our schedule of classes on our online calendar. To sign up, just click on a date and you will be taken through our registration process. Want to book a private party or fundraiser? Just click on the tab at the top of our site to do so. We don’t keep regular hours to make projects but we do have studio hours during the week where you can stop in and see what we are all about!
I am from out-of-town, can you ship my project?
Yes, we can ship your project! Rates are based on packaging time, size of project and actual shipping costs. Because it can get pricey, we do recommend if you are traveling by air to consider making a project that can fit in your luggage or be carried onto the plane.
Do I have to register?
Yes, we do require registration as we have to get the supplies ready for each class. Registration closes 24 hours prior to class start time. For last minute registrations you can try email us, however, we cannot guarantee that we will respond in time for you to join in.
What is the Cancellation/Reschedule policy?
Please note that our cancellations policies is very firm and we do not make exceptions. Because our projects are all custom, we do not offer refunds for on registrations. Cancellations or reschedules made 72 hours prior to class start time will be given a credit to a future class within the next 30 days.
Can I bring someone with me who is not participating?
Yes and no. Guests over the age of 21 may join a class if they are not participating with a minimum 2 drink purchase (so long as space allows as participating guests have first seating). Guests under the age of 21 are not allowed to attend unless they are participating in class. This includes infants and small children.
What if I arrive late?
We start our classes promptly on time. Students arriving more than 30 minutes late will not be admitted and funds will be forfeited. Students arriving late will be checked in as soon as instructor has a break and time to do so. If you arrive late, it is your responsibility to get caught up and finish on time as the instructor cannot take away from the class to get latecomers caught up.
What if I take longer than the allotted time?
This applies to both public and private events. If you choose to paint longer than the time allotted than our instructors are required to charge $5 per person per hour each additional half hour for their time to stay and will use the card you used during registrations. Sorry, no there are no exceptions to this as we have to pay our staff to stay longer.
What are the risks?
We use hammers, drills, stains, paint, nails, staples and other tools on our creations. Wood is sanded, however, there is always the possibility of getting splinter. If you are uncomfortable using these tools or have a condition that would increase the likelihood of getting injured, please speak with our staff prior to registering for our classes.
What should I wear?
Paints and stains…well they stain! So we recommend wearing appropriate clothing for crafting and that you would not be upset if you got paint on it. We do provide aprons, but better to be safe than sorry!
Do I get to sit with my friends?
We will do everything we can to make sure you get to sit with your friends-please make sure to include the names in your group in the field of registration that asks for that. While we cannot guarantee all groups sit together, we will do our best to accommodate you.
